Voter ID Photo FAQs
What size photo is required for Voter ID?
The Election Commission of India requires a photo of 3.5 cm (width) × 4.5 cm (height) in portrait orientation. The file should be JPEG format, 200 DPI, and ideally between 20 KB and 50 KB.
Can I use the same photo for Voter ID and PAN card?
No — the two have different dimension requirements. PAN card photo is 2.5×3.5 cm (landscape orientation) while Voter ID photo is 3.5×4.5 cm (portrait). Use the respective tools on this site to get correctly sized photos for each.
Is my photo saved anywhere?
